Pastor Kennedy Ntulume Preaching

On this day, we had a church service which started well at 9:00am. this Sunday’s sermon was about Visions and Dreams

These are some of the highlights of what was preached that day:

  • In life, we must have a vision and or a dream
  • A vision is the ability to see your future

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (KJV)

  • Perishing might not be only bodily but also spiritual, in business, marriage etc
  • A vision unfolds hidden information
  • A person with a vision will persevere. He/she won’t mind what he/she goes through to attain his/her vision
  • A person with a vision will not move according to other people’s words
  • A vision acts as a clear guideline for your destiny – pursue your vision because of what God has spoken to you
  • A vision shapes your footsteps

Psalm 91: 11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (KJV)

  • Without a dream you will make unprofitable decisions
  • Your destiny is what you were created to be
  • Joseph’s brothers followed him to Egypt because of the vision he had. A vision attracts favour/people

Job 33: 15 – 18
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men as they slumber in their beds,
he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings,
to turn man from wrongdoing and keep him from pride,
to preserve his soul from the pit, his life from perishing by the sword.(NIV)

  • Never share your vision with everyone; this is the number one reason that got Joseph into trouble with his brothers.
  • A vision, unlike a dream, doesn’t require you to sleep to get it.
  • Through visions, God speaks secrets to your life
  • Without a vision, there is no life

Habakkuk 2: 3
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (NIV)

  • Your vision mush have a purpose – it must justify the Kingdom
  • Your vision must be God centered. A vision will always speak for itself
  • Sometimes, your start may be slow, but we have to wait
  • God reveals himself to his servants and holy ones through visions and dreams

Psalm 89: 19
Once you spoke in a vision, to your faithful people you said: “I have bestowed strength on a warrior; I have exalted a young man from among the people. (NIV)

Numbers 12: 6
he said, “Listen to my words: “When a prophet of the LORD is among you, I reveal myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams. (NIV)

May God bless you all
